Bug Art in the Park

As part of the ‘Cultural Partnership’ funded project, we ran Holiday Playclubs at Prospect and McKilroy Parks in Reading. We searched for bugs and then had a go at drawing the creatures we found.

Autumn Arts Day

We worked with the staff of of All Saints Infants School to provide a day of Autumn Arts for the children. We designed 8 activities and the children rotated from one activity to the next, throughout the day.

Clay Woodland Creatures

Nature Nurture worked with Year 2s at All Saints Infants School. We went to Prospect Park and learnt about Autumn and the lifecycle of trees. We collected leaves and twigs and used them to make creatures with clay.

CBeebies ‘Mr. Bloom and Friends’ Event

Nature Nurture collaborated with local conservation groups to run creative workshops for the ‘Mr. Bloom and Friends’ Roadshow event at Christchurch Meadows, Reading, Summer 2013.

Picasso with 5 to 11 year olds

Working with children at a local Playclub, we created a giant 10ft X 8ft copy of Picasso’s 1937 painting ‘Seated Woman – Marie Therese’.
