Why join us?
This group is friendly and relaxed and whether you’re looking for a chat and some gentle pruning or a more physical workout, there is a safe and kind place for you here.
We welcome anyone over 18 who could benefit from:
Boosting mental wellbeing through time in nature
Gentle physical activity outdoors
Reducing isolation or building confidence
Feeling a sense of purpose and achievement
What happens in a session?
🌱 Light to moderate conservation tasks (like cutting back ivy and brambles, habitat care)
🌞 Time to meet and chat with friendly people, share a cuppa, and enjoy the beauty of The Cowsey
🦋 No pressure to do more than feels comfortable
Some people may have found us through our facebook page, local posters, or via the social prescriber service at their doctors’ surgery but however you find us there is always a warm welcome.
